    没有完美的草种

　　上海交通大学草业科学研究所王兆龙教授在会议报告中对华东、华南最常见的草坪品种作了全方位的点评。他认为，每一个草坪品种都有其过人之处，同时也存在软肋：本特草的景观质量毋庸置疑，华东地区90%的球场都用它做果岭草，但夏季管理难度大是它最大的遗憾，高温高湿的夏季让本特草难逃病虫害的困扰，其药、肥、水的开销也给球会的运营带来巨大压力。

　　百慕大是南方绿地草坪最常使用的草种之一，为了保证纯度，球场经常使用杂交百慕大。在十几年前，南方大部分球场都将它用在球道、果岭和发球台，但随着建造习惯的改变，它逐渐从果岭上退居到球道、高草区。百慕大的养护成本远低于本特草，但在质感、色泽上和本特草差距甚远，而且挥之不去的春季死斑病也降低了它在草坪总监心中的地位。

　　海滨雀稗是近几年开始在球场里“走红”的草种，凭借着细腻的质感和美观的色泽，以及对滨海环境的高适应度，它赢得了很多球场业主的青睐。然而，在非盐碱地上较高的养护成本和频繁的病虫害让很多人对它望而却步。

　　由此可见，草种的选择不可能做到绝对完美，顶多是相对适合。所谓的“最适合”，是指草种的优势迎合了业主的需求，而弊端又可以被立地条件和业主所容忍。

　　使用相对纯净的草源

　　如果球场在权衡利弊的基础上选定了某几个草坪品种，离“选对草种”还有一步之差，这一步就是草坪来源。绝大多数暖季型草种都是通过草茎建植成草坪的，作为草源的草茎能否保持纯净，关系到草坪成坪后的质量。
